How to shorten an epic movie to 30 seconds

During my travels on the World Wide Web I came across a set of animations that made me laugh out loud. It is a whole series postulating on the how some famous movies should have ended. The Lord of the Rings, whether in book form or in the epic movie trilogy, would certainly have been a different animal if it had ended in the way envisioned by the accompanying video.

But not to be outdone, there are also alternative endings for Star Wars: Episode IV, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, and the first Superman. The same animation team also skewer George Lucas and his unorthodox movie making methods with their take on how George would have approached the Lord of the Rings project. Funny stuff.
