Pics: Why you should never store your laptop in the oven

postmeltdown2_1.jpg

If you live in a high-crime area, one of the best places to store your valuables is the oven. Seriously. No thief ever thinks to look there, and in the event of a fire, the thermal insulation works both ways protecting your stuff. That said, if you’re going to store your laptop in the Easy-Bake, it’s best to tell anyone else who might be preheating the oven about your secret stash, or this might be the result. Believe it or not, despite a five-minute dose of 300 degrees Fahrenheit, the notebook eventually powered up to full functionality. Found via reddit.
