Firefox in space

While even the most open source-obsessed Firefox fanatic would have to admit the app has a long way to go before it deposes Internet Explorer as the preferred browser on planet Earth, outer space is another story. Behold–the nebula-sized Firefox logo. Actually, it’s just variable star V838 Monocerotis striking a pose for the Hubble in 2004, but given how many anti-Microsofties seem to think that Firefox was divinely inspired to deliver them from Steve Ballmer, I’m not going to argue. Given all the quirky histories surrounding both Web browsers and the Firefox logo, this is just a regular day at the office.
