What's so great (and not so great) about MacBook Air?

Yesterday, Steve Jobs announced the world’s thinnest laptop, the upcoming Macbook Air, during his MacWorld keynote. It has the blogosphere buzzing about how great it is going to be (and even brought down Twitter just after it was announced).

MacBook Air

My friend Jeremy Toeman, who recently switched from a PC laptop to a Macbook, has posted a quick list of what’s good and what’s not so good about the new MacBook Air. Sure, the form factor and the look are pretty impressive (0.16 to 0.76 inch thick!); however, does it have the hardware specs to justify the $1799 starting price tag?

Also, if you missed the keynote and just want to see the highlights, Veronica Belmont over at Mahalo Daily has posted a 60-second version that will get you up to speed.
