Salespeople use all sorts of tricks to get our attention. Knowing these tricks can help keep you for being taken for a ride. Here are some tips that salespeople share with each other to get past your gatekeepers.

As an IT leader, you’ve got something a salesperson wants — a budget waiting to be spent. You may also have something a salesperson doesn’t want — someone standing between you and them, preventing them from giving you the pitch. That person is there to make sure that the salesperson doesn’t get to you and interrupt your busy work schedule.
